Hannah Discusses Inspirations Behind Her New Piece for London Symphony Orchestra

Hannah discusses unexpected instruments, creolising sounds and the inspirations behind her new piece O flower of fire for the London Symphony Orchestra, in a five-minute read here. Its world premiere performances will take place on 4 and 5 October with LSO Chief Conductor Designate Sir Antonio Pappano. 

The piece has been commissioned by London Symphony Orchestra and Staatstheater Hannover, supported by The Boltini Trust and Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung. Akhila Krishnan will design new video artwork for performances with Niedersachsisches Staatsorchester Hannover and Joel Sandelson at Opernhaus on 14 and 15 April 2024
