Profile in Percorsi Musicali

Percorsi Musicali, an Italian webzine devoted to written and improvised contemporary music, has profiled Hannah and her music. Written by its editor-founder Ettore Garzia, the piece focuses on Hannah’s series of 10 works inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Tuxedo artwork, and her triptych (shouting forever into the receiver, Even sweetness can scratch the throat and when flesh is pressed against the dark) exploring Antonio Benítez-Rojo’s notion of the Plantation Machine. Garzia describes Hannah as one of the most original and representative voices of her generation, and the full article can be read in Italian here.
