Debut Recording of 'Processional'

On 23 January, pianist Fidan Aghayeva-Edler released the debut recording of Hannah's Processional (2018). The album, Elements & Jasmine Petals, features solo piano works by women composers in celebration of Fidan's ongoing 'Komponistinnen Piano Marathon' series. It also includes works Carolyn Chen, Marti Epstein, Rahilia Hasanova, Liza Lim, Jobina Tinnemans, and Aleksandra Vrebalov. Processional was commissioned by New Music in the South West, and takes its name from a Norman Lewis artwork depicting the 1965 Selma to Montgomery March.
